On the Routes

Now 52 years old, the bus system at UC Davis continues to transport students and other residents around town — more than 22,000 riders on a typical day. These days aren’t typical at all, and Unitrans has adapted to the pandemic by limiting capacity to 15 customers per bus and sanitizing interiors twice daily. Student drivers still operate the buses, including the vintage double-deckers, the symbol of the fleet.
