Sure-Fire Training

At any given time 15 students are a part of a UC Davis Fire Department program, responding to emergencies, living at the campus fire station and learning skills through hands-on experience. In two years, they get industry certifications, qualifying them to enter the workforce. This year marks the 100th anniversary of the only dedicated fire department in the UC system.
